SENECA — Soluna of Seneca, a Redken Elite Salon has announced the launch of a high-end fashion show to benefit Our Daily Rest — Oconee County’s first homeless shelter. The fashion show will be held Thursday, Oct. 29 at the elegant Brooks Center on the campus of Clemson University. It is entitled “Free Yourself” and is meant to inspire those in need to build a sense of well-being and dignity while rebuilding their lives, part of Our Daily Rest’s mission, (www.ourdailyrest.org). The show will feature casual, business and formal wear presented in an exciting fast-paced format, showcasing creative fashion, trend setting hairstyles, stunning models and Redken’s latest hair and make-up trends, all styled by Soluna’s professional team. The latest in fashions for both men and women will be showcased.
“The concept of this exciting show is to create a showcase where the audience can enjoy a top-of-the-line show and have the opportunity to learn more about the latest fashion and trends,” says Ralph Aucoin, owner of Soluna and originator of the benefit. “We are partnering with Redkin and skirt! magazine in order to present the latest in fashion design and styling while benefiting Our Daily Rest, an organization working to help some of the most needy in the greater Oconee area. The Brooks Center is an outstanding venue for the fashion showcase.” Fashions by Carlisle, BustyQue, Evolve Male and Two Sisters Boutique will also be featured. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and a Silent Auction will be held.
Prior to the show, representatives from showcased boutiques, corporate sponsors and Soluna will be available to meet with guests during a wine and cheese reception in the lobby of the Brooks Center. VIP seating will be available for advanced purchase at Soluna, Our Daily Rest, Two Sisters Boutique in Seneca and Evolve Male in Greenville.
